This weekly challenge is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. All you need to do to participate is to answer these three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What will you be reading next?
What I’m currently reading
I feel like I’m back on form now and am back up to reading and listening to four novels at once. I’m absolutely loving ‘The Ash Museum’, which I won in a competition, and I’ve nearly finished listening to an audiobook of ‘Holy Island’, a detective romance set on Lindisfarne. My daughter and I are listening to ‘The Wizards of Once’ in the car – our favourite character so far is Squeezjoos, the ‘hairy fairy’ – and I’m about to start an ARC of a middle-grade book, ‘A Glasshouse of Stars’.

What I recently finished reading
It was a real mixed bag of reading last week! A middle grade murder mystery, ‘The Secret Detectives’ by Ella Risbridger, an audiobook ARC, ‘Outbreak’ by Frank Gardner, and a psychological thriller, ‘The First Day of Spring’ by Nancy Tucker.
What I’ll be reading next
I’ve got a couple of ARCs lined up on NetGalley: ‘Between Sea and Sky’ by Nicola Penfold, and ‘How to Kill your Family’ by Bella Mackie. I won a copy of ‘Unknown Male’ by Nicolas Obregon, which has zoomed to the top of my TBR list as it looks fantastic!

A Glasshouse of Stars sounds so interesting! And that cover is beautiful!!
