Top Ten Tuesday: Books on my Summer TBR list

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week, we’re all looking at which books we’ll be reading this summer.

Out of the physical books on my shelf, I think that I’m most looking forward to reading ‘The Honeymoon’, which has been lent to me by a friend and comes highly recommended by them, which is always a good sign! I’m also hoping to read ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’, ‘The Twins’ and ‘A Fraction of the Whole’. In a rare trip into non-fiction, there’s a new book of essays by Margaret Atwood out soon, that I’m hoping to get for my birthday this summer.

I’ve got a few ARC’s lined up on NetGalley: ‘The Department of Rare Books and Special Collections’ by Eva Jurcyk, ‘The Upper World’ by Femi Fadugba, and ‘Between Sea and Sky’ by Nicola Penfold.

I’ve also got some audiobooks to listen to: ‘Cujo’ by Stephen King, ‘My Cousin Rachel’ by Daphne du Maurier, and ‘The Muse’ by Jessie Burton.

If you’ve read any of these, or have any other suggestions to add to the TBR pile, please let me know in the comments.

Have a great week of reading, everyone!

  1. The best book I have recently is “The Great Alone” by Kristin Hannah, I highly recommend this book. We read it in our book club and almost everyone loved it. What’s the best book you’ve read this year?

  2. I do like the Holly Jackson books, as a gripping YA detective thriller… and Zadie SMith is wonderful (though I preferred Swingtime to On Beauty myself, both are great) And I really liked We Are Completely Beside Ourselves too – a great collection and it is great to see physical books on a real shelf!
This is my TTT of the books I am currently thinking of getting to this summer.
