This weekly challenge is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. All you need to do to participate is to answer these three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What will you be reading next?
This post features links to the mentioned books on Amazon. If you choose to buy one by clicking on my links, I’ll get a small commission at no extra cost to yourself. Thank you!
What I’m currently reading
Some real goodies this week! I’m listening to an Outlander novella, ‘The Space Between‘, which gives a narrative to some of the supporting characters from the Outlander series, mainly Michael Murray and Joan MacKimmie. I’ve been fortunate to get my hands on an ARC of Richard Osman’s new book, ‘The Man Who Died Twice‘ through NetGalley – whoop, whoop! And yes, it’s back with the Thursday Murder Club as their crime-solving exploits continue. I’m also reading ‘If it Bleeds‘ by Stephen King – a collection of his novellas with contemporary themes.
What I recently finished reading
I was very well-behaved last week and cleared some books off my TBR list rather than adding to it for once. I had two books on NetGalley, ‘The Hawthorne School‘ (my review is here) and ‘A Farmhouse in Tuscany‘ (my review is here). I was a bit naughty (again!) and bought ‘The Mystery of the Night Watchers‘ after seeing it in a Twitter post, and then I read ‘The Cherry Orchard‘ as I’m trying to work my way through some classic play scripts. ‘Backstories’ and ‘Six Stories’ were both recommended by other book bloggers. I wish that I had the time to properly review all of these, as they definitely deserve it, but for the moment you’ll just have to trust me that they’re all good reads.
What I’ll be reading next
I’ve got a few books on NetGalley that are approaching their archive dates, so those are going to be my priority over the next few weeks:
Have a great week of reading, everyone!
