1. Nineteen Eighty Four by George Orwell

A nightmarish vision of the future in which everyone is watched by CCTV and there are even cameras in our own homes. Terrifying, mainly for the fact that so much of it has now become a reality.

2. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
