This weekly challenge is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. All you need to do to participate is to answer these three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What will you be reading next?
What I’m currently reading
For once, I’ve just got two books on the go at the moment: ‘Between Sea and Sky’, a middle grade dystopian novel by Nicola Penfold, and ‘Cujo’ by Stephen King. I’m enjoying both so far, and there’s little chance of me getting confused with the plot, characters or dialogue this week!
What I recently finished reading
It’s been two weeks, and we’ve been self-isolating for the last 9 days (one day more!) so I’ve finished off quite a few books. Three of my favourites have been ‘Unknown Male’ by Nicolas Obregon (review here), ‘The Ash Museum’ by Rebecca Smith (review is here) and ‘A Glasshouse of Stars’ by Shirley Marr (and my review is here).
What I’ll be reading next
I quite fancy making a start of my summer TBR pile, and I’ve got some beauties lines up. Out of all of them, I’ll probably start with ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’, unless it’s particularly hot, in which case it may be ‘The Honeymoon’ that I start off with.
A great lineup of summer reading. Enoy!!
